SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATION RODA GOLF & BEACH RESORT

The Roda Golf & Beach Resort golf course, located in San Javier, Murcia, has taken a significant step towards sustainability by inaugurating an electric production plant with 98 panels using photovoltaic technology over an area of approximately 250 m2. The main objective is to significantly reduce the consumption of energy from the distribution network in order to minimize the environmental impact associated with the production of greenhouse gases. The installation has been carried out on the pergola of the practice range and golf academy, adjacent to the Clubhouse. The modules were arranged in a coplanar manner, which not only reduces the visual impact but also facilitates aesthetic integration into the natural environment. To ensure efficient and safe operation, a 45 kW inverter with a performance coefficient of 98.4% has been installed, equipped with an anti-spill system. With this innovation, it is expected that the self-consumption installation will cover approximately 40% of the total energy consumption, thus achieving a self-sufficiency rate of 20%. Considering the energy production mix in Spain and its corresponding CO2 emission factor of 0.256 kg per kWh consumed, it is estimated that this initiative will prevent the emission of approximately 12,581 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere over a given period. The installation has been carried out by EM SOLAR, a company specializing in photovoltaic production systems, thereby guaranteeing the quality and efficiency of the project.
